Wellington OPP Seize Drugs And Stolen Property

The Wellington OPP have charged a Minto man with numerous offences after they uncovered drugs and stolen property from a home just south of Harriston.

Police say they performed the search warrant at a residence on 5th Line Wednesday.

Officers say they recovered around 2 kg of marijuana, a small amount of meth, along with $4,000 worth of tools, a stolen dirt bike and a snowmobile .

Police also uncovered six replica handguns and a set of brass knuckles.

29-year-old Robert Doupe of Minto faces six drug, gun and stolen property charges.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
