A 69-year-old Fordwich woman has succumbed to her injuries after she was hit by a vehicle while walking on the crosswalk in Listowel Tuesday afternoon.
Margaret Eskritt was struck by a truck turning from Wallace Ave. N to Inkerman St. E. Eskritt was airlifted from Listowel to a hospital in London with serious injuries.
She passed away this morning. Police continue to investigate.
