Some Ontario Progressive Conservative royalty will be in Listowel Saturday for the Perth-Wellington PC's annual general meeting at the Trillium Insurance building on Hwy. 23.
PC Leadership candidates Patrick Brown, Vic Fedeli, Lisa MacLeod and Monte McNaughton will each give ten minute presentations to PC members shortly after the event gets underway at 1:30pm.
While the event is for PC members only, anyone who wants to join is asked to sign up for a membership at the event or online.
"Right now we have anywhere from 350 to 400 members," Perth-Wellington PC Association President Warren Howard tells CKNX News. "We're certainly expect that to grow substantially between now and February as more supporters sign on so they can be a part of the leadership selection."
Any member interested in voting in the leadership election must be registered by February 28, 2015.
The only candidate that is not expected at Saturday's AGM is Christine Elliot. She is expected to send someone to speak on her behalf.
The election for Ontario PC leader goes in May.
