Owen Sound Death Ruled A Homicide

Police are now investigating a murder after the body of a woman was discovered in Owen Sound.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday, officers with the Owen Sound Police Service discovered the body of 28-year old Lezleigh Hopkins at a residence on 2nd Ave. W.

A post mortem examination conducted in London on Friday has revealed Hopkins was a victim of a homicide.

Police are not releasing any further information at this time due to the nature of the investigation.
