Huron Chamber Restructuring Almost Complete

The new chair of the Chamber of Commerce for Goderich and North and Central Huron says their restructuring is just about completed.

Gerry Rogers says they're still looking for two or three new directors and a staff member to take on the Chamber duties, but Rogers feels their new online structure can reduce their overhead and strengthen services.

"We're going to be enchaining our website as well as proving membership facilities through online services, which include really simple things like board meetings can be taken Skype rather than a face-to-face meeting," Rogers tells CKNX about their new Go Mobile that will be launched in May.

The organization will continue to host the Mayor's Luncheon, their Business After Five program, their annual general meeting in May and the awards night this fall.

Rogers says they will also be offering members a two-tiered membership which offers members more value.
