High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Chapman's is looking for a number of employees to fill a variety of positions.
YWCA Employment Services will host a series of job fairs starting on Tuesday at their office in Owen Sound.
People interested in being a Lead Hand, Production Helper, Sanitation Worker, Maintenance, Forklift Operator and Lab Technician can meet with a Chapman's representative from 3pm to 6:30pm on Tuesday.
You should bring your resume to one of three job fairs planned.
The second opportunity is at the Hanover YMCA Employment office on Wednesday, with the third event being held at the Grey County Agricultural Services Boardroom in Markdale on Thursday.
They are all scheduled from 3pm until 6:30pm.
