Wiring And Tools Stolen From Exeter Habitat For Humanity Home

Thieves have made off with tools and wiring from the Habitat For Humanity home under construction in Exeter.

Huron County OPP were called to the Edward Street property last week.

Sometime between 5pm on January 16 and 7am on January 19, those responsible entered into the home through an insecure front door.

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole about $700 worth of tools and wiring from the home.

The stolen items consisted of: · Two 10 inch saws · A 6 ft level · A T-Square · A small aluminum ladder · Two 500 ft spools of 14/2 wire · Two 500 ft  spools of 14/3 wire

The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at $700.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
