Arrest Made After Flight From Police On Snowmobile

A 21-year-old South Huron man faces numerous charges after his flight from Police on a snowmobile ended with a crash.

Huron County OPP saw a man and a woman leave a bar in Exeter and speed off on a snowmobile.

The vehicle sped by another two cruisers and fled following an attempt to pull him over.

Not long after, police found the snowmobile upside down on the front yard of a home nearby. Officers followed the footprints of the driver and passenger, locating them behind a garage on Carling St.

Both were arrested with the driver blowing over the legal limit. He faces numerous driving offences while the female was released unconditionally .

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
