On January 20th, a pedestrian was hit while crossing at the corner of Wallace Ave. N. and Inkerman St. E. in Listowel. The pedestrian, 69-year old Margaret Eskritt of Fordwich, succumbed to her injuries in a London hospital on January 23.
A 57-year old from North Perth is charged with "fail to yield to a pedestrian".
The shelter in place for all community members in zones 8 and 10 on Aamjiwnaang First Nation has been lifted.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
