A second body has been recovered from the scene of a house fire near Meaford.
Two people were missing after the fire Friday night on the 8th Concession North, between Hwy. 26 and Side Rd. 22 in the Municipality of Meaford.
One body was found in the ruins of the home on Monday. Crews had been using heavy equipment in the search for the second person.
A post-mortem examination will confirm the identities of the victims. Provincial police say two people who lived in the house remain unaccounted for.
The Office of the Chief Coroner and the Fire Marshal's Office are assisting Grey County OPP with the case.
