Good Samaritans Return Cash Found In Kincardine

Some good Samaritans helped return cash found in the Canadian Tire parking lot to its rightful owners.

Some cash was found in the lot on the afternoon of February 2, and then more money was found on February 4.

The money was turned into the South Bruce OPP, which managed to locate the rightful owner and return the $500.

"I’m very impressed with the integrity of these individuals that turned over a significant sum of money for police to track down the owner. The South Bruce OPP officers work hard to engage the community in crime prevention and public safety. I can’t think of a better example to demonstrate police and the community working together,” says Acting Inspector Mike Beatty, detachment commander for the South Bruce OPP.
