A 30-year-old Clifford woman has been charged with fraud and theft after bank record discrepancies were found within the 1943 Norwell Army Cadet Corp of Palmerston.

The Wellington OPP says they received a complaint from the non-profit group and after a long investigation, charged a woman who was involved with the organization.

Elizabeth Fearnley has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and fraud under $5,000.

She's scheduled to appear in a Guelph courtroom on March 17.
