Region Remains Under Extreme Cold Warning

11:05am UPDATE: Environment Canada has ended their Extreme Cold Warning for all of southern Ontario.

Most of the province remains under a Extreme Cold Warning from Environment Canada, as forecasters warn of a prolonged period of severely cold wind chills.

Bitterly cold arctic air is combining with light northerly winds to create wind chills of minus 30 to minus 35 this morning. However, conditions will improve later this morning as temperatures rise.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
