$5,000 Worth of Equipment Stolen from Perth County Pig Barn

Perth County OPP are asking for the public's help after over $5,000 worth of tools were taken from a pig barn west of Bornholm.

Investigators say the suspects broke-into the barn sometime between 6pm on February 12th and 7:30am on February 13th and removed propane and electric heaters as well as a compressor and several portable tools.

The stolen equipment included the following:

- “Farmhand” air compressor, 6 horsepower 20 gallon tank - Green and white pig prodder - Green 5 horsepower Coleman generator - Yellow DeWalt, cordless drill, flashlight, - Yellow DeWalt hammer drill - Yellow DeWalt circular saw - 45 kilowatt, 220 volt electric heater - 3 propane purifier heaters

Anyone with information about this theft is requested to contact OPP or Crimestoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
