New Bronchoscope for Hospital In Goderich

Huron-Bruce M-P Ben Lobb paid a visit to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich on Friday.

The Hometown Heroes Raise a Little Health charity hockey game that Lobb organized last July raised around 40-thousand dollars. The money was split between the hospital, the Goderich Y's Strong Kids progam and the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health in Seaforth.

The hospital's share of the money went towards the purchase of a new Bronchoscope and Lobb wanted to visit the hospital to make that announcement and show Goderich and area residents what the money bought.

The Bronchscope provides a less invasive way for a doctor to examine a patients lungs and airways.
