Wingham Man Dies After Saturday Crash

A 66-year-old Wingham man has succumbed to his injuries after a two-vehicle crash on London Road Saturday afternoon.

The collision happened shortly after 1pm on Saturday near Bok Line, just north of Wingham.

Huron OPP say a white GMC Sierra pickup truck was northbound on London Road when the driver of a silver GMC Sierra pickup truck made a U-Turn on a curve, directly in the path of the white GMC pickup.

Police say the driver of the silver Sierra, 66-year-old James Stanley, was extricated from his vehicle and transported to Wingham hospital for treatment.   He passed away in hospital Tuesday morning.

The driver and two passengers in the white pickup did not require medical attention.
