Norgan Theatre In Palmerson Successful

Minto’s Norgan Theatre in Palmerston continues to be a success.

Recreation Services Manager Matthew Lubbers told council that the Norgan wound up 2014 in the black and is well on its way to paying off its $177,000 loan from the municipality over the next two years.

He says the Norgan, which is run almost entirely by volunteers, is in a good position to continue showing weekend movies.

“If people put their actions where their mouth is and they get things done, we can say if volunteers want to step up to the plate we can do a lot of things in this community,” says Minto Mayor George Bridge.
