Bruce County Archives Donation

The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre has an historical addition to its archives.

The Bluewater Board of Education's Outdoor Education Centre has donated a collection of letters, photos and other documents related to the history of the Centre.

On hand for the presentation of the collection was Nancy Marshall.   She's a descendant of the Mason family, the original owners of the site of the Centre.

The materials will be available to researchers and others in the archives department at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton.

Museum archivist An-Marie Collins says it's a significant addition to their collection.

"It' such a wonderful facility and I think it's really great that we're preserving that history here at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre."
