Owen Sound Benefit Concert

A "Good Neighbours Benefit Concert" is being held for the victims of a fire that destroyed two homes and damaged a third residence in Owen Sound.

Owen Sound's musical community is pulling together to support musician Steve Kenny, who lost his house in the fire, along with his neighbours.

The fire on February 6th occurred on 2nd Avenue East.

The fund raising is being held March 6, at the Harmony Centre starting at 7:30pm.

Admission is Pay what you can.

The night includes a silent auction, snacks and beverages.

Confirmed so are Coco Love Alcorn, Larry Jensen, ET Rhino, The Down Right, Our Shotgun Wedding, and the Sons of Perry.

Every one of these performers is donating their time for this event.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
