Paul Martin Joins Liberal Candidate In Goderich

About 250 Liberal supporters turned out for a reception for Huron-Bruce Federal candidate Allan Thompson at the Goderich Legion last night.

Thompson's special guest was former Prime Minister Paul Martin.

Thompson told the crowd he had the pleasure of showing the former prime minister around the riding all day and Paul Martin confirmed that he had indeed seen most of the riding, including Thompson's home town of Glammis.

Martin told his audience Canada needs a change in federal government and he believes Allan Thompson is the person to help make that change.

Thompson pointed out it isn't often a former prime minister comes out to help a candidate campaign, so for him, the entire day was inspirational.
