Giant Tiger will be opening a Hanover location in October.
The Ottawa-based retailer announced on Friday that it will take up around 20,000 sq ft in the old Zellers location on 10th St.
Officials with the discount store said the hiring process will begin later on this year.
"Shortly, jobs will be posted online on the career section of our website," Spokeswoman Alison Scarlett tells CKNX News. "People in Hanover, for the last two years or so, have been emailing us and calling us, asking for a location in Hanover. So we're really happy to make this announcement."
The store is expected to open on October 10, 2015.
