Huron County Prepare Citizens With Huron Ready Phone Call

Huron County residents and businesses that have registered with the Huron Ready Notification System will be getting a test call this week.

The automated test is to confirm the contact information that would be used in an emergency situation.

The Huron Ready verification process runs Monday to Thursday between 1pm and 4pm and 6pm to 9pm.

The caller display on the phone will show up as "EMERGENCY CALL" just as it would in the event of an actual notification campaign.

If you get a call, you are asked to following the verification process instructions to confirm or change your contact information.

If you have not already submitted a community notification form to register, you can call toll free at 1-888-524-8394 ext. 3711  or complete the form on their website.
