A boil water advisory is in effect for a dozen homes on Murphy St. in Mount Forest.

The Medical Officer of Health and CEO, Dr. Nicola Mercer, put the advisory into effect yesterday afternoon, following a water main break along Murphy St.

The advisory is a precautionary measure for the 12 residential homes, and will remain in effect until sampling indicates that the water is safe to drink.
