Perth County OPP Charge London Man

A London man has been charged by Perth County OPP following a theft of prescription medication from two area residences, one dating back to last summer.

Police were were called after a victim in Perth South became suspicious that medication from her bathroom was missing following a visit by her financial advisor.

Police investigated a similar case in West Perth last summer of 2014, where it is alleged a similar offence had occurred while the financial advisor was at another client's home.

A 29-year-old London man has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000.

He appeared in bail court today and will attend again on March 30, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford to answer to the charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
