Palmerston Legion Asked To Name New Street

The Palmerston Legion is getting one last chance to come up with a name for a new street in the Palmerston Industrial Park.

Minto council has accepted the name of Palmerston Boer War veteran Arthur Ross, which was suggested by a local historian. But it won’t pass the official bylaw until its next meeting.

The Palmerston Legion did not respond to an earlier request for a name. The Legion has until the next council meeting to offer a name suggestion.
