Skier Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries At Blue Mountain

A teenage girl is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a a skiing-related incident at Blue Mountain.

OPP say were called to the scene at about 1:25pm on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old girl was at the ski facility for a competition but her injuries stem from an incident away from the race.

OPP say she was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The victim has been airlifted to a Toronto hospital.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
