Frozen Water Services Still An Issue In Meaford

St. Vincent Euphrasia Elementary School in Meaford is closed today because of a water main repair, and lack of water to the school.

Meanwhile, homeowners on Collingwood St. in Meaford will have to keep using temporary waterlines for at least three more weeks.

Operations Manager Steve Vokes says the main supplying water to those homes will remain frozen until warmer weather returns, and that could be at least three more weeks.

Since the watermain froze, Collingwood St. residents between Cook and Thompson streets have had to depend on temporary lines for their water supply.
