OPP UAV's On Display In Clinton

The OPP will have an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) at the International Drone Day in Clinton today (Saturday).

It's your chance to get up close and personal and see one of the OPP’s seven UAV’s.

Also, on hand to answer questions about the OPP UAV will be a trained OPP UAV pilot.

The OPP’s unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are small commercially available, remotely piloted helicopter-like devices that are similar to those purchased and used by remote controlled aircraft enthusiasts around the world.

OPP trained operators use UAVs to support investigations (traffic and crime scenes) with photographs and video.

A great way to learn more about OPP UAVs is to stop by the OPP static display at the International Drone Day exhibition located at the REACH Centre at 169 Beech St. in Clinton.

The event is scheduled to take place today from 10am-5pm.
