A Pontiac minivan crashed into a hydro pole between Sebringville and Mitchell.
Perth County OPP say the impact snapped the pole, and caused the van to roll onto the roof.
Live wires came down onto the vehicle, trapping the occupant. Hydro One employees rushed to the scene to cut the power to the line. Then West Perth Fire Department personnel safely extricated the driver.
A 19 year old female was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital where she is being treated for major injuries .
The collision closed Line 32 from Road 145 to Road 150 for several hours Saturday afternoon.
