Full Throttle Gets Race Season Underway For A Good Cause

The start of the race season begins Saturday at Full Throttle Raceway south of Durham, with admission going towards food banks in Durham and Mount Forest.

The Sprint into Spring 200 will start at 1pm with two 90-lap qualifiers.

The event is a "run whatcha brung" race, which allows registered drivers to race their own cars.

Top prize is a sprint car, valued at $35,000.

"It's probably the richest race in Ontario going this year." Organizer Doug Townsend tells CKNX News.

More on the event can be found on their website here.
