Crews were on scene for a few hours at St. Matthews Lutheran Church to battle the blaze in the attic and roof areas.
Hanover Fire Chief Ken Roseborough says the estimated is pegged at $500,000.
Roseborough says the cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
