High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p><div>Perth County OPP are looking for the occupants of a small vehicle with a"tin can" exhaust after several mailboxes were smashed.</div>

<div>Police were called to an area on Line 39 west of Perth road 119 Friday night about 11pm</div>
<div></div>
<div>A resident on Perth road 113 reports a custom made mailbox was taken from in front of his house.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Mailboxes were also damaged east of the Stratford Airport, and on Saturday,  three other mailboxes were destroyed.</div>
<div></div>
<div>The incidents all occurred withing 6 km of Stratford.</div>
<div></div>
<div>OPP would like ot talk to anyone who has had similar issues.</div>
