Saugeen Valley Maple Syrup Festival Tomorrow

The largest outdoor Maple Syrup Festival in Grey and Bruce Counties opens tomorrow morning.

The Old-Tyme Maple Syrup Festival, hosted by the Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation, runs Saturday and Sunday at Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area, north of Paisley.

The event features horse-drawn wagon rides, a pioneer encampment, crafts and demonstrations, a sport-dog show, and Hydro One's Electricity Discovery Centre.

The main attraction is the pancakes and fresh maple syrup, served both days from 10am to 4pm by the Paisley Kinsmen.

Because parking is limited at the Saugeen Bluffs site, shuttle buses will run from Paisley.
