Man Charged For Vandalism in St. Marys

Perth County OPP have made an arrest after publicizing the image of a suspect wanted in a vandalism case in St. Marys.

Over the weekend the window of a portable classroom at Little Falls Public School was broken, and a window at the Pyramid Centre's pool in St. Marys was also smashed.

A surveillance camera at the Pyramid Centre captured an image of the suspect. After releasing the image yesterday, the OPP received several calls and were able to identify and arrest a suspect.

A 23-year-old St. Marys man has been charged with two counts of Mischief under $5,000. He's to appear in Stratford court May 11th.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
