SBGH Centre Welcomes Record Number of Babies

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre's family Birthing Centre welcomed a record 403 babies to the world in the past year.

That breaks the record of 365 babies born at the centre the previous year.

The centre at the Walkerton hospital site features six birthing suites where expectant mothers receive one on one care throughout their labours.

Easten Oberle was the 400th baby born there in March to proud parents Jennifer and Robin Oberle.

“We have an expert team of nurses, physicians and midwives that deliver first rate care to our patients and families,” says SBGHC President and CEO Paul Rosebush. “We take great pride in our family centered approach, and are really excited that our program is continuing to grow.”
