OLG Slots Add $8.5 Million to Central Huron Economy

The OLG Slots have injected about 8.5 million dollars into Central Huron's economy since they came to the Clinton Raceway in August of 2000.

Central Huron Clerk Brenda MacIsaac explains their are no strings attached to the money and council decides how it is spent.

She says one of the first things council did was set up the facade improvement program for downtown Clinton businesses and the donation program.

MacIsaac points out the donation fund supports many non-profit projects in the community as well as stimulating economic development in Central Huron.
