Ellice Township Group Hopes to Save Rostock Hall

A community group in Perth East is trying to save the old Ellice Township Hall in Rostock from being sold.

Council is considering selling the 53-year-old building, which is now called the Rostock Hall.

The Ellice Optimist Club say the building serves as a social hub for the Ellice Ward. Club officials claim the hall is booked four to five times a week, often times with multiple bookings per day.

There will be a public meeting at the Ellice Township Hall in Rostock on April 16th.
