Group Hopes To See Wingham Town Hall Theatre Reopen

A volunteer community committee is spearheading the re-opening of the Wingham Town Hall Theatre.

The group hopes to raise $100,000.00 to install fire doors, sprinklers, a projector, retractable screen, and heating and cooling system.

The committee will ask for support from North Huron Council tonight.

The group would dissolve once repairs are complete and the theatre would be run by township staff.

The theatre would not be utilized during township business hours, or council meetings.
