Parking Problems At Harriston Tim Horton's

Coffee drinkers in Harriston appear to be willing to break the law to get their cup.

Minto council heard that some big rigs are parking on the side of the highway at the Harriston Tim Horton's, right beside the no parking signs. Council is concerned that the transport trucks block the view of other drivers as they attempt to leave the parking lot.

Highway parking is also a problem at the Palmerston Tim Horton's and council decided to erect new no parking signs there.

But the idea of erecting parking barriers in Harriston was rejected by council. Staff were asked to try to come up with a better solution.
