Pre-Trial Date Set For Boris Panovski Case

A date has now been set for Boris Panovski's judicial pre-trial meeting.

Panovski made another video appearance in Goderich court on Thursday. He's facing charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder in the shootings at the Hullet Wildlife Conservation Area last September.

His pre-trial meeting, which will be used to work out the details of how the case will proceed, will be held on Wednesday. While the accused will not be there, the judge, the crown and the defense will be.

Panovski's next appearance will be on April 23 and that appearance will again be by video.

Two weeks have been set aside for a possible preliminary hearing in October.

Panovski is currently being held in the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre in London.

He is accused of killing 70-year-old Don Frigo, and attempting to kill Frigo's wife, near Clinton last September.
