UPDATE: Power Restored to Majority of Region

Power has been restored to the majority of our listening region after an evening full of outages on Friday.

Save for a handful of homes near Wiarton and Meaford, most of Midwestern Ontario has seen their power restored.

Around 5,800 customers in Bruce-Grey were without power for a few hours on Friday.

A broken insulator caused an afternoon outage for Hydro One customers in and around Saugeen Shores, Mildmay, Walkerton, Hanover, Durham and Mount Forest.
