BlackburnNews.com photoA fire that started in the basement of a Blyth area home has caused $200,000 worth of damage.
Firefighters from North Huron and Brussels were called to a home on Blyth Rd. just after 7:30am this morning. No one was hurt and there were working smoke alarms in the house.
The cause is still under investigation but is not suspicious.
Blyth Rd. is now open between Elevator Line and Hwy. 4 after being closed for most of the morning.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
