OPP Release Pictures In Tavistock Bank Robbery Case

OPP investigators have released photographs of the suspect, truck and backpack involved in a bank robbery in Tavistock earlier this month.

Police say the unknown male entered the bank and demanded cash back on April 9 at the Scotiabank located on Woodstock St.

He's described as a black male in his 20's, 5'9" tall, wearing grey sweat pants, black puffy short coat, a black hood with a black ball cap peak underneath.

The backpack involved is described as black LRG pack with the symbol and the capital letters LRG below it on the pocket portion.

Meanwhile, police are also looking into a newer-model white Dodge truck that was seen near the bank at the time of the robbery.

It's described as a 2500/3500 2009 or newer model Dodge with after-market roof lights, sunroof and bug deflector. It also has a four door mega cab, running boards and a single wheel rear.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
