Sauble Beach First Nation Land Claim In Court

South Bruce Peninsula and Saugeen First Nation are going to the court on Friday over the Sauble Beach land claim.

A mediated settlement, that would have seen Saugeen’s land extend much farther north to 6th St., has fallen through.

Legal teams from both sides will meet at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice today to set future dates for the case.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
