The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority successfully completed a controlled burn near Hanover.
About two acres of what's called a tall grass prairie ecosystem was burned at the Allan Park Conservation Area.
The conservation authority's Donna Lacey says the controlled burn clears out unwanted plants and dead materials.
That keeps the unique tall grass prairie ecosystem healthy.
