Grey County To Host Food Entrepreneurship Courses

If you think you make the best homemade chilli sauce in the world and would like to make some money with it, Grey County can help.

The county is hosting a day-long series of workshops and seminars Monday to provide information on how to develop and market small food related businesses.

Organizer Philly Markowitz says they're calling the event "Food Entrepreneurship: Growing Innovation."

"Anyone who has a small food related business or wants to start a food related business, maybe somebody who is a farmer who want to find ways to get into value adding on their farm," says Markowitz.

The food entrepreneurship program is on Monday, Apr 20 at Georgian College in Owen Sound from 9:30am to 4pm.
