Investigation By Bruce, Grey and Huron Police Leads to 14 Charges

A joint forces operation by several community police forces led to charges against 14 people in Bruce, Grey and Huron counties.

Police executed the eight warrants on Friday.

The forces involved were Saugeen Shores, Hanover, West Grey, Owen Sound and Wingham as well as the OPP.

Crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, prohibited weapons were seized along with a number of cell phones.

14 people were arrested and charged with various offences from Possession of a Controlled Substance and being in Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
