New Defibrillator Coming to Bayfield Post Office

The Bayfield and Area Chamber of Commerce has exceeded it's target in an effort to raise money for a defibrillator.

Chamber Co-Chair Leanne Cavanaugh says they almost have enough money for two units.

They hope to have one defibrillator installed in the post office on the main street of Bayfield before the May 24th holiday weekend.

They second unit may be put near the beach and harbour areas at a later date.

Cavanaugh adds they received donations from businesses and residents throughout the village as well as significant contributions from the Bayfield Lions and Optimists and Michael's Pharmasave.
