Bluewater School Board Wants Your Input

This is your last day to ensure your input is considered as the Bluewater District School Board updates its strategic plan.

There's a survey on the board website at www.bwdsb.on.ca

The board's vision is “Preparing Our Students Today for the World of Tomorrow,” with a mission to provide a quality educational in a safe and caring environment.

Some priorities in the current plan include ensuring the well being of students, and providing quality instruction in a supportive, equitable and inclusive environment

It calls for parent engagement, and accountable stewardship of resources.

The ten questions in the survey are aimed at ensuring the plan still meets the needs of the board.

Staff will analyse feedback and make recommendations to the board in June.

“School boards are encouraged to review their strategic plans on a cyclical basis to ensure that all stakeholders are committed to the same path in order to support the success and well-being of all students. We hope that many parents/guardians, students, staff and community members will come forward to participate in our survey,” says Director of Education Steve Blake.
