Community Garden Takes Root In Clifford

Plans are going forward for a community garden in Clifford.

Minto has agreed to pay a main street business $500 a year for use of an adjacent vacant lot.

Minto earlier established a community garden in Harriston which has been very successful.

“We’ve got a lot of good people helping, including the horticultural society in Clifford and the Rotary Club,” says Minto Mayor George Bridge.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
